Matchbox Lesney Models of Yesteryear

Matchbox Lesney commenced producing the Models of Yesteryear Series in 1956 with a small range of Veteran or Vintage vehicles with a small range of 9 models that was slowly expanded to 15 or 16 models in the early to mid 1960’s. In the 1970’s the range was increased with more commercial vehicles, due in part to addressing promotional advertising for paying customers.
