A View-Master Sawyers c1950 Model C Hand-Held Viewer Bakelite.

Issued in the 1940’s and updated to the Model E in the 1950’s this Model C View-Master is bakelite and requires a light source, daylight or other to shine through the front light wells. The reels are loaded via a top slot and rotated with the metal lever on the right hand side. The later models had plastic handles for the rotation.

This unit is in very good condition with minimal wear.

The rear panel shows “Sawyer’s VIEW-MASTER” various Patent references “Made in the USA” PORTLAND-ORE.
