Plastic Habiba Doll in Costume c1970. Doll appears to be blow-mold plastic although it is difficult to tell as the costume includes full leg coverings and is hand-sewn to fit the body. The doll is mounted to a cardboard base with pins into the shoes. The base plate text read “Reference No: YO 5” “Habiba” and ” Dressed and Decorated by Hand.” Our estimate as circa 1970 is based on the original owner collecting dolls during her global travels in the 1960’s and 1970’s. Country of origin is not known.
