Camberwell Store Updates

A quick visual tour of our cabinets at the Camberwell Antique Centre, Cookson Street Camberwell, Victoria. While restocking some of the cabinets today we collected photos of the cabinets and the huge range of old and recent toys. Cars, Boats, Planes, Dolls, Teddies, Trains in O and OO/HO, 1:32 Figures from Airfix, Timpo and Britains, and lots more.

New items featured this month include:

  • a Gerry Gee Junior ventriloquists doll, working with original clothes and the “Tarax Club” badge.
  • a small range of Lego Dimensions figures as new in box
  • a selection of recent Hornby rolling stock, mint boxed, circa 2010
  • a selection of older Hornby O Guage rolling stock, boxed and loose circa 1950

Our Neo 1:43 Scale Models Stock is featured this week with around 120 models available.

Highly detailed resin cast models, much of our stock was issued a few years ago.

Most of these models are no longer available from Neo and are retired styles.

Matrix Scale Models in Australia

Antique Toy World has been providing collectors with access to Matrix Scale Models in Australia for over 5 years. Australian and New Zealand collectors are now able to purchase and pre-order directly from our new website.

Matrix Scale Models are 1:43 fine scale resin models in very limited editions, generally of less than 400 world-wide.

Based on rare proto-types, the Matrix Scale Model series offer collectors some of the rarest motor vehicle models ever made.

We also carry a range of factory sold-out models which are listed on the website.

Pre-orders are being accepted for May and June 2020 releases. Delivery estimate will be July 2020, assuming that the factory is on schedule.
