An unboxed Matchbox Lesney 23a Berkeley Cavalier Caravan 1st Issue.
This 1956 is identified on the base plate with only “Lesney England”. The later issue has the additional text of No 23 Berkeley Cavalier and made in England By Lesney.
The pale blue colour was used for both 23a and 23b along with small metal wheels.
This model is in very good playworn condition. The original decal on the rear and the tow hitch are both intact. Aside from some paint loss to the high edges the model is in very good to excellent condition.
