A common reference scale for toy models of (mostly) automotive vehicles. The class of models at 1:64 is to be viewed broadly as many model makers use a ‘fit-to-box’ scale as evidenced by Matchbox Lesney in the 1950’s and 1960’s when small sedans and large fire engines would use a common box size of approximately 6cm length.
